About Westminster Presbyterian Church
Westminster Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian congregation in downtown Buffalo with a long-standing commitment to being a progressive, open community. The church has supported the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ persons in the life and ministry of the church since the 1970s. Worship is held in a historic sanctuary with a full fifty-voice choir and an Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ. Children’s Sunday school is offered, and the church also has youth programming. Westminster’s community engagement includes founding the Westminster Economic Development Initiative in 2005.
