About Living Word Church
Living Word Church is a non-denominational congregation serving the Hauppauge community with worship services at multiple locations and times. The church meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM at a school auditorium on Hoffman Lane, with additional programming including a 7 PM Sunday service for college students and young adults. The church is led by Lead Pastor Doug, who has guided the congregation since 2014, supported by a dedicated team including worship, youth, and discipleship pastors. Living Word purchased property in 2019 with plans to construct a permanent building, and the community has remained active through creative approaches including drive-in services during the pandemic. The church emphasizes connecting people deeply to the church family and helping them grow in their personal relationship with Jesus through worship, discipleship, and various ministry programs.
