About Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church
Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in West Babylon, New York, has served its community since 1959, when a group of dedicated Greek families fulfilled their vision of establishing an Orthodox parish on Long Island. The church moved to its current location on Great East Neck Road in West Babylon in 1989, where a beautiful shrine church was dedicated with Byzantine architectural inspiration. Beyond Sunday Divine Liturgy, the parish offers a rich array of ministries including Sunday School, Bible study classes, Greek language instruction, youth programs for all ages, and community outreach through its food pantry. The church remains committed to bearing witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ through apostolic tradition and worship while fostering fellowship and cultural heritage among its parishioners and visitors.
