About Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church
Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church is a parish of the Orthodox Church in America serving the Raleigh, Cary, Durham, and greater Triangle areas of North Carolina. Established as a mission in Raleigh in September 2000, the parish moved to Morrisville in 2006 and received full parish status in 2012. The community has continued to grow in both membership and spiritual commitment, recently relocating to a newly renovated church building at 5408 Tryon Road in Raleigh in 2026. The parish is dedicated to following Christ's Great Commission and embracing the Apostolic Faith through sacramental communion with God and one another.
